The Harmony Museum On-Line Auction will take place in September and October 2019. We will begin accepting items on September 1st and the last items will be accepted on October 1st
Auction items are accepted in two ways:
- Donation to the Harmony Museum. All proceeds after the auction fee go to Harmony Museum. Items can be dropped off by appointment at Harmony Warehouses at the west end of Mercer St. in Harmony or, if needed, we will pick up donated items.
- Consignment. Consignment items will be auctioned off with the auction fee and a 20% fee from the museum taken out of the amount the item earns. A reserve can be placed on the item by the owner. Items that do not sell over the reserve must be picked back up before the end of October. Any items left after that date will be sold or donated by the museum and any money collected will go to the museum.
- Item drop off is by appointment only, by calling (724) 272-4121 or the Harmony Museum at (724) 452-7341. (if there is no answer, please leave a message and we will get back to you).

Antiques of good sale quality only. No clothing, no garage sale/household sale type items. Acceptance is at the discretion of the museum staff. Call the number above to be sure your item(s) can be accepted.
Your donation qualifies as a tax exemption and you will receive a receipt that can be used for tax purposes.
We do not appraise items, the own is responsible for placing a value on the item if it is being sold on consignment. (if using Ebay or other auction sites to place a value on your item, remember that what you see is the reserve or asking price, not what it ultimately sells for. )

We have forms that you can download and print off, so they can be filled in ahead of time when you are dropping off your donation. This will help speed up the process and allow you to fully describe your items in your own words.
